Zero-Fail Silky Steamed Egg Custard (15 Minutes Total)
A silky-smooth steamed egg custard loved by kids, with a texture as smooth as milk pudding 🍮. It tastes amazing and is absolutely irresistible!!!

Prepare 2 eggs and 130ml-150ml water (130ml for small eggs, 150ml for large ones). Repurpose an old baby bottle as a measuring cup!
Pour water into the eggs and mix well.
Add water while stirring quickly.
Once mixed, strain through a soy milk filter.
After straining, cover with cling wrap and poke a few holes using a toothpick.
⚠️ Start steaming with cold water, use medium-low heat for 10 minutes. Leave to sit for 2–3 minutes afterward. (For heavy, airtight lids like mine, 10 minutes is sufficient. For steamers, allow 3 additional minutes.)
Prepare the sauce: 1 tablespoon of Haitian oyster sauce, 3 tablespoons of cooled boiled water, and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil.
Mix the sauce well.
After steaming, let it sit for 2 minutes before removing!
The silky steamed egg custard is ready to serve!
