Cooking Tips

1. It's recommended to use dark bittersweet chocolate chips to balance the sweetness of the cookies. If using sweet chocolate chips, reduce the sugar accordingly to your taste. 2. How to portion the cookie dough? Simply grab a small amount of dough and roll it into a ball while wearing baking gloves. 3. What if it's not thoroughly cooked? It's meant to have a soft texture with a crispy outside and a slightly soft center. For a crunchier texture, bake 5–8 minutes longer based on cookie size. 4. Why did the chocolate chips melt after baking? Use heat-resistant baking chocolate chips. Let cookies cool completely before removing them from the pan. What to do if the chocolate chips are soft? Chill the cookies, and the chocolate will solidify. 5. Adjust baking temperature based on your specific oven. This temperature works for mine. 6. Avoid overmixing the sifted flour to prevent toughness, ensuring a nice texture.
