[Cinnamon Wreath Bread] Fall in Love with Cinnamon Aroma
I have always wanted to try bread with cinnamon flavor. After purchasing cinnamon powder this time, I quickly made this, and it turned out really delicious. The aroma of cinnamon powder is very unique and rich. I fell in love with it on my first try. When rolling up the bread, try to roll it into as many layers as possible. This will create more layers and improve the texture. The amount of salt used is more than usual bread, giving it a hint of saltiness in the sweet flavor that keeps it from being cloying. During baking, it browned deeply, which I love. After it’s out of the oven, sprinkle some powdered sugar for decoration. The wreath shape feels perfect for holidays as well. It’s 8 inches in size; if you can’t finish it, just store it in a fresh-keeping bag~
Ingredients
Steps
1. Warm the milk, add sugar and yeast, and stir.
2. Let it sit for a few minutes until the yeast forms fine bubbles on the surface of the milk.
3. Mix the filling ingredients together.
4. Stir the filling until well combined and set it aside.
5. Put all ingredients into the bread machine.
6. Knead the dough until it forms a smooth and elastic ball (windowpane test).
7. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
8. After the dough has risen, take it out, gently knead to release some air, shape it into a ball, let it rest, then roll it out into a rectangle.
9. Spread the filling evenly over the dough.
10. Roll it up from the wide side to form a log.
11. Use a knife to slice the log in half lengthwise, leaving one end uncut.
12. Twist the two sections together, keeping the cut side facing up.
13. Shape the twisted dough into a wreath and place it in a round mold lined with parchment paper.
14. Let it rise for about 20 minutes, then bake at 190°C for around 35 minutes. Sprinkle some powdered sugar for decoration.
