Take the butter out of the fridge in advance and let it soften, then cut it into small pieces. Chop the dried cranberries into small bits as well.
Use a spatula to mix the butter and sugar, then add the egg and stir until evenly combined.
Sift the cake flour into the mixture from Step 1, then add the dried cranberries and fold until no dry flour remains.
Transfer the dough onto baking paper, use the baking paper to shape it into a rectangular block, seal it, and freeze in the freezer for 1 hour.
Remove from the freezer, slice into pieces about 8 mm thick, and place them on a baking tray on the lower rack of the oven.
Select the baking mode on the oven and bake at 170°C for 20 minutes.
