Dutch Baby Pancake㊙️ with Baking Dish Recipe🔥Made Without a Cast Iron Skillet

Ever since I bought this little cast iron skillet, I’ve made Dutch baby pancakes several times and truly feel they are quick, easy, and visually stunning. Time to document it! After several attempts, I discovered you can also bake the pancake in a baking dish. The steps are the same as with the cast iron skillet—I preheat it in the oven together with the skillet. Additionally, since the pancake itself has little sugar, the filling can either be sweet or savory. Cream, salads, fruit, pork floss—anything can be used as a filling. You can serve everything in one go. What could be more convenient than that!

The mixture should be watery as shown. You can skip the vanilla extract or use vanilla seeds.

You can also directly use pancake mix instead of regular flour. The finished consistency should still be runny as shown.

Carefully take the cast iron skillet out of the oven using gloves. Be cautious of burns! Pour the mixture into the skillet. Bake at 210°C for 12-18 minutes, with top and bottom heat, until the runny batter rises dramatically!

Keep an eye on the coloring during the last few minutes. Mine browned just in the time it took to take a photo! Once done, let it cool down, and the pancake will gradually deflate. Finally, decorate it as desired. You can whip some cream and add fruits, but I was in a rush and directly added fruits. Sprinkle powdered sugar for a beautiful, delicious treat!
