Steamed Scallops with Garlic and Vermicelli
Fresh and juicy scallops from the seafood market, steamed for a healthier option!
Ingredients
Steps
Clean the scallops thoroughly, remove the viscera (the black parts), and drain the water for later use.
Cut the scallop meat with a knife, place it in a bowl, add cooking wine, and marinate for 15 minutes to remove the fishy smell.
Soak the vermicelli in hot water for 5 minutes until softened.
Prepare the ingredients: minced garlic, chopped green onions, and diced red chili.
Fry the minced garlic in oil until fragrant and golden brown.
Put the fried garlic in a bowl, add a pinch of salt and chicken bouillon, and mix well. Place vermicelli and scallop meat on the scallop shells, then add a spoonful of garlic and a bit of diced red chili. Steam in a steamer for 5 minutes (count time after the water boils).
Remove from the steamer, plate, and sprinkle with some chopped green onions.
