Ham Sausage Edge Pizza

This pizza is my son's must-have breakfast every week. Since I have to go to work, I haven't had the chance to photograph every step each time I make it. But the chefs are eager for me to share the recipe, so the images included may not come from the same instance of making it—they've been pieced together from my photo album. I hope you don't mind! When I have the time, I'll take a complete set of process photos and update the recipe. The following ingredients are suitable for making an 8-inch pizza.

1

Mix 120g of all-purpose flour, 70g of milk, 1g of salt, 10g of sugar, and 2g of yeast; knead for five minutes, then add 10g of butter and knead for ten minutes to form a smooth dough. Cover with cling wrap and let it rise for about an hour. Once risen, deflate the dough.

Roll out the trimmed dough into four rectangular pieces and wrap them around the ham sausages. Ensure that the connections aren’t overlapping to maintain an even thickness.

An 8-inch pizza pan requires about 28 pieces of ham sausage. Each sausage makes about 7 pieces, so 4 sausages are just right. In the photo, I only had 3 sausages left and cut each into 10 pieces.

Since I work during the day, I usually prepare the pizza base the night before. I cover it with cling wrap and store it in the fridge. The next morning, I bake it.

Peel the shrimp, marinate with salt, cooking wine, and pepper for ten minutes. Dice the onion, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper. Wash the corn and green peas. Place all ingredients in a plate, microwave briefly to remove moisture.

Spread pizza sauce (I used ketchup) over the base and sprinkle some pizza seasoning. The seasoning is optional.
