Must-Have for Lazy People ~ Rice Cooker Braised Rice with Red-Braised Pork, Kidney Beans, and Potatoes

Ingredients

Star Anise1 piece
Pork Belly300 grams
Light Soy Sauce2 tablespoons
Ginger2 slices
Green Onion1 stalk

Ran out of pork belly at home, so I used a mix of lean and fatty pork. But fatty pork tastes even better!

Heat a small amount of oil, add the pork and stir-fry until it changes color. Add dark soy sauce and a little sugar.

Add the potatoes and stir-fry briefly. Then add the kidney beans.

Wash the rice and get it ready.

Add water, star anise, soy sauce, green onion, ginger, and a little salt to the pot. Simmer until it’s 70% cooked.

Pour the ingredients and broth into the rice cooker. Add slightly more water than usual. Press the cook button~ and start cooking.
