Molten Chocolate Cake (Even Kitchen Beginners Can Succeed ๐)
This was my first time making it, truly the first time! My friends on social media often bake, but they rarely make this cake. So, I decided to give it a try, and it was a success on my first attempt!
Ingredients
Steps
Mix egg yolks, water, corn oil, and sugar until even. Sift in cocoa powder and low-gluten flour (I didn't sift, so there were small particles in the cake later).
Mixed batter.
Whip the egg whites, adding sugar in three batches.
When almost whipped, add corn starch and continue whipping.
Lift the mixer; if there's a little curve, the whipping is done.
Add one-third of the meringue into the batter and fold evenly.
Pour the mixed batter into the remaining meringue and fold evenly.
Pour into a 6-inch mold, tap to remove bubbles, and bake at 145ยฐC for 30 minutes (adjust based on your oven).
Ganache preparation: Heat cream and chocolate over water to melt, let cool (set aside 20 grams for decoration).
Whip cream, sugar, and ganache together until it reaches the desired state as shown in the image.
Immediately remove the cake after baking; tap a few times and place upside down to cool on a rack, then remove and make a cavity.
Drizzle whipped cream; add more to edges for a dripping effect.
Dust with cocoa powder using a sieve, then pipe the reserved ganache on top. Done โ
