Savory and Soft - Super Soft Oatmeal Garlic Bread
For those who love the aroma of garlic and the texture of super soft bread, this Super Soft Oatmeal Garlic Bread will be irresistible! Its rich and savory flavor, combined with its tender and soft texture, makes it the perfect companion for early mornings. Imagine waking up to the sight of this bread and a cup of milk coffee to awaken your taste buds. This dough has a relatively high hydration, so it may still feel a bit sticky after kneading. To handle it more easily, I usually dab some olive oil on my hands before shaping the dough. You can give it a try!
Ingredients
Steps
Chop the garlic into fine pieces.
Soften the butter at room temperature and mix until smooth.
Combine the minced garlic, salt, sugar, and herb mix into the butter and stir well to make the garlic butter.
Bloom the oatmeal in boiling water.
Mix all the dough ingredients except the olive oil together and knead until the gluten develops.
Add the olive oil and knead until the dough can form a smooth and elastic membrane.
Deflate the dough, divide it into 5 or 6 equal portions, round them, and let them rest for 20 minutes.
Roll each piece into an oval shape, then roll it up into an olive shape. Proof until doubled in size. After proofing, score a fine slit on the surface with a blade.
Pipe the garlic butter into the slit.
