Sausage Croissant 🥐 (Hand Grasp Pancake Version)

Ingredients

Hand Grasp PancakesThree sheets
SausagesFour packs (six small pieces per pack)
Egg yolk1 piece
SesameSome black and white sesame seeds

Use any brand of hand grasp pancakes you prefer. After taking it out of the fridge, let it sit for a while. Don’t wait till it’s too soft. Cut it while it’s still a bit hard. Then cut it as shown in the picture.

Take out a sausage and place it at the wider end, then roll it up.

Finish rolling as shown in the picture.

Oh right, I forgot to mention, I used a scallion-flavored pancake. Haha 😄 After rolling, place it on a baking sheet.

Beat the egg yolk, then use a brush to lightly coat the rolls with a layer of egg wash.

Sprinkle sesame seeds for garnish. For a better appearance, I alternated black and white sesame seeds.

Take a closer look 👀. Place them in the oven, preheat to 200°C, bake on the middle rack with upper and lower heat for 20 minutes. Move to the top rack for the last five minutes for browning.

The process is quite simple. It won’t be crispy when hot, only after cooling. For making snacks, it’s okay I guess.
