Sesame Shortbread Cookies
I have made this cookie countless times~ Family and friends who have tried it can't stop praising it~ Sesame-added cookies come out super aromatic after baking~ This recipe is mainly for sharing with my good friends~ Of course, feel free to try it out if you're interested~
Ingredients
Steps
Mix corn oil, egg wash, and fine sugar together in a large bowl until well combined!
Combine low-gluten flour, baking powder, and baking soda, and sift the mixture~ Mix roasted sesame seeds into the flour mixture~ Pour the mixed flour into the corn oil mixture from step 1 and knead into a dough~ Take a small piece of dough, roll it into a ball, flatten it, and place it on a baking tray. Brush the top with egg wash and bake in a preheated oven~ You can determine the size of the cookies as you like, but it's best to keep them uniform in size to ensure even baking~
Bake at 160°C for 12-15 minutes until the surface turns golden~
The cookies may feel a bit soft when just out of the oven. Let them cool at room temperature, and they will turn crisp~
Take photos of the cookies under the sunlight; they look tempting even without edits~
