Cooking Tips

Tofu sheets, also known as dried tofu, are a soybean product. In Wuhan, they are called 'tofu sheets,' in northern China, they are commonly known as 'tofu skins' or 'dried tofu,' and in areas like northern Jiangsu and Guangdong, they are referred to as 'hundred leaves.' Tofu sheets can be prepared in numerous ways, such as in salads, stir-fried dishes, or soups. Blanching the tofu sheets in hot water briefly before cooking can effectively remove the bean smell and make them soft and tender. This small cooking tip may even make picky eaters enjoy soy products!
