Waffles (Light Meal Maker Version)
Ingredients
Steps
Prepare all the ingredients. Beat the eggs, then add the caster sugar and mix well.
Add the milk and stir until evenly combined.
Weigh out the cake flour, tapioca starch (you can also substitute with cornstarch), and baking powder, then sift together.
Pour the dry ingredients into the egg mixture and stir until no dry flour remains. Add the vegetable oil and mix until smooth and even.
Fit the waffle molds into the light meal maker and preheat for 2 minutes.
Brush a thin layer of vegetable oil onto the molds, then pour in an appropriate amount of batter.
Close the light meal maker and heat for about 8–10 minutes. First heat the batter for 2 minutes, then turn the entire machine upside down and heat for another 2 minutes. Turn it back over and continue heating for 4–5 minutes. Once the color is to your liking, remove the waffles. (Turning the whole machine over ensures the batter cooks evenly on both sides.)
This amount of batter makes about three waffles.
