Whole Wheat Bread Buns
Want to lose weight while satisfying your cravings? After several attempts, I found this ratio works well, the taste is great, and it's easy to fall in love with. So, here I am sharing it.
Ingredients
Steps
Mix all ingredients except butter and knead until smooth. Only use the egg white.
Add butter, mix and knead, then ferment until doubled in size.
Weigh the dough after fermentation. I divided it into nine 50g buns for sweetened red bean filling and three more for seaweed-meat floss buns.
Degas the dough, flatten it, and wrap the sweetened red beans inside.
This dough is easy to shape. Here are the wrapped sweetened red bean buns.
For the seaweed-meat floss buns, squeeze salad dressing first. Ensure there's no salad dressing on the sealing edge of the dough, or it won't stick properly.
Let the buns proof for about 30 minutes until they look visibly larger.
After the second proof, brush with egg yolk and decorate with sesame seeds, rolled oats, dried fruits, etc.
Spray water before baking to better adhere the decorations.
Bake at 170-180°C for 18-20 minutes. Check the color of the bread after 10 minutes.
These are decorated with rolled oats, dried fruits, and nuts.
This type of bread is very filling. Just a small amount of sweetened red beans is enough as the filling is quite sweet.
Seaweed-meat floss with salad dressing 😃
A total of 12 buns. I tried one 🥱, and it tasted great. One is enough for breakfast.
