Quick Breakfast | Universal Formula for Dutch Pancakes (Sweet or Savory)
Recently, I've been having this for breakfast every day. It's so simple, incredibly versatile, can be sweet or savory, and looks great. It doesn't require separating eggs and whisking like souffle pancakes, nor does it need to be cooked one at a time like regular pancakes. You only need to mix all the ingredients, put it in the oven, and bake for a dozen minutes. These pancakes are called Dutch pancakes, and there are tons of beautiful pictures online. I've shared some here to inspire everyone~ Today I'm also sharing some pairing tips. They can be sweet or savory, balanced in nutrition, and, most importantly, well-paired to look great!

Steps
There aren’t many ingredients needed. If you're worried about gaining weight, you can skip the sugar, as the flavor can be adjusted with condiments. However, adding sugar helps with fluffiness. · The first step is to preheat the cast iron pan in the oven at 200°C.
Combine all ingredients except the butter in a blender and mix for 10 seconds. · If you don’t have a blender, mix by hand until smooth.
Once the oven is preheated, take out the cast iron pan and add a small piece of butter. Allow it to melt, and swirl the pan to coat the bottom with butter.
Pour the excess butter into the egg mixture, mix well, and then pour it back into the pan. · I use a 16cm cast iron pan by Sori Yanagi. If not available, other oven-safe pans can be used. The liquid should fill about 1/3 to 1/2 of the pan.
Bake in the Beiding oven at 200°C for 15-17 minutes, monitoring the pancake’s surface for browning.
Watching it puff up is very satisfying, though each time its shape will be slightly different—some tilting is normal. Don’t worry, as it will deflate after cooling.
I like to sprinkle some powdered sugar for presentation, but you don’t have to follow me, haha!
Savory enthusiasts can add meat, perfect for a nutritious morning boost. · This version includes bacon-wrapped okra, avocado spread, shredded carrots, and pickled cucumbers!
You can also use fried eggs, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, and salad—all prepared while the pancake is in the oven.
Just added some of the fruits lying around at home.
Cantaloupe + prosciutto + yogurt balls~
Smoked salmon is a good choice; roasted kale with bacon also looks delicious~
This appears to be a cherry tomato salad with a fried egg.

Sautéed mushrooms with pea shoots.
Yogurt, figs, strawberries, and pomegranate.
Lemon curd and blueberries.
Apples, ice cream, and maple syrup (just guessing~).
Ice cream and assorted berries.
Add some cocoa powder to the batter for chocolate pancakes—pair with ice cream and chocolate sauce for a delightful effect.
