Kimchi Fried Rice
That woman with the bad back sent me a whole bunch of kimchi. This kimchi is completely different from what I used to have before. The ones I bought before were all not tasty, which made me not care much for kimchi at all… Now I really love it. Fried rice with it is super simple and delicious!
Ingredients
Steps
Chop the kimchi finely. I like it finely chopped, but you can also cut it into strips.
Pour the kimchi juice into the rice.
Give it a casual stir so the grains loosen up; this way the fried rice will have separate grains.
Beat the egg with a little cooking wine until well mixed.
Pour oil into the pan. When the oil is hot, pour in the beaten egg.
Break the egg up in the pan, or take it out and chop it into small pieces.
Using the remaining oil from frying the egg, add the kimchi and stir-fry until fragrant.
Add the rice and stir-fry together.
Add the chopped egg back in and stir-fry until evenly mixed.
Dish it up and sprinkle some toasted black sesame seeds on top, then it’s ready to eat.
