Strawberry Canned

Making strawberry canned food is really super simple, definitely zero difficulty and zero failure. Want to give it a try? I'll try other fruit canned foods and report back later!

Ingredients

Strawberry500g, cleaned and hulled
Rock sugar100g
Water500g

Steps

Sterilize the jars for jam: Place the jars into boiling water, sterilize them for 5 minutes, remove, and set upside down to air dry completely before use.

Pour water into the pot, add rock sugar, and bring to a boil.

Once the rock sugar has dissolved, add the cleaned and drained strawberries.

Bring to a boil again over high heat and turn off the heat.

Put the strawberries and sugar water into the sterilized jars.

Seal the jars tightly, place them upside down to cool.

Cooking Tips

1. Since strawberries are easy to cook until soft, they don't need to be cooked for too long. Simply boil until just done. 2. If eaten directly, just turn off the heat, cover the pot, and let cool before serving. 3. I prefer using rock sugar, but you can use white sugar as well. 4. Since it's homemade and contains no preservatives, it’s best to store the canned food in the refrigerator.
